Amanda Botfeld
Amanda Botfeld

Samy Dighlawi was off of his penalty and opened in early position. Michael Newman of Team Newman three-bet to 240,000 in late position and Amanda Botfeld of Team Botfeld four-bet shoved a stack of about 1,000,000 from the big blind.

Dighlawi folded and Newman took some time before pushing in a stack of green for a call.

Amanda Botfeld: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Michael Newman: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

The flop of {2-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{6-Diamonds} was of no help to Botfeld, but the {a-Clubs} on the turn put her ahead with top pair. The river brought the {4-Hearts} and Team Botfeld secured a double-up through the chip leader.

One-Hand Penalty for Team Ruter

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Vidur Sethi of Team Adam raised to 80,000 from the middle position and Samy Dighlawi of Team Ruter defended his big blind.

The flop came {10-Spades}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades}, Dighwali check-called the 75,000 continuation-bet of Sethi.

They both checked through the {3-Diamonds} on the turn to the {9-Hearts} on the river. Dighlawi bet 50,000 and Sethi contemplated his options.

Sethi cut out calling chips but didn't put them over the line yet. Dighlawi held his cards up with them visible to the people behind him, ready to muck or show. Sethi took some more time and eventually made the call but mucked when Diglawi tabled the {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for top pair.

While Dighlawi raked in the chips, the floor came over to give him a one-hand penalty for exposing the cards to the rail.
