Trinh Busts Lake

Level 34 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

John Trinh raised in the cutoff to 1,200,000 and Priscilla Lake made the call on the button. Carlos Chang tanked for a minute in the big blind and let it go.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Trinh continued for 2,000,000, which was quickly called by Lake.

Things heated up on the {4-Hearts} turn. Trinh made another bet, this time for 6,000,000. Lake tanked for a while before deciding to shove for 7,400,000. It was snap-called by Trinh, who revealed {a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for a pair of aces. Lake, with {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, was in desperate shape for a double up, and busted after the {8-Diamonds} hit the river.
