Ka Kwan Lau completed his small blind and Shaun Deeb opted to check. The {k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop was dealt and they both checked to see the {8-Diamonds} on the turn to pair the board. Lau bet 400,000 for Deeb to snap-fold.

Two hands later, Deeb raised to 840,000 from the button and Lau defended his big blind.

The flop came {3-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, Lau checked. Deeb barreled a bet of 1,000,000 over the line for Lau to call.
