Norman Hits Another Two-Outer to Double

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Jeff Norman moved all in for around 550,000 and was up against Stuart Taylor.

Jeff Norman: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Stuart Taylor: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The {6-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop gave Norman a set of sevens to come from behind. He held up as the board ran out {9-Spades}{4-Spades} to earn the double up.

"That's the second two-outer he's gotten," a tablemate said.

Scotter Clark had a simple reaction to the hand: "Poker is stupid."

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Paul Nguyen raised to 135,000 from the hijack and from the button Kyle Brown re-raised to 275,000. Action folded around to Nguyen who thought about it for some time and then called.

The flop of {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs} was checked through to the turn of {5-Diamonds}. Paul Nguyen went deep into the tank and thought for over a minute about his decision. The whole table started making jokes about the lenth of time of the hand and Nguyen checked. Brown bet 400,000 and Nguyen folded.

Orrico Gets Away

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Bob McMillan raised to 155,000 from the button and Brian Orrico called out of the small blind. From the big blind, Bruno Lopes then shoved all in, having both players well covered.

McMillan quickly folded, but Orrico went into the tank for a few minutes. He eventually folded and Lopes showed him {a-}{k-}.

"That's two times in a row you've got me. I had ace-queen," Orrico said, celebrating by raising his arms in the air and leaning back in his chair after his fold that may have saved his tournament life.

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Clyde Reed raised to 160,000 in early position and from the hijack, Scott Epstein raised to 400,000. In the small blind Sean Moore went all-in for 1,700,000 which Reed folded to and Epstein snap-called.

Sean Moore: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Scott Epstein: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The flop came out {5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{j-Clubs} which gave Moore a gutshot and no improvement to the hand, but the turn and river {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} made Moore three aces to acquire the better hand. Moore's stack went over 3,600,000 and Epstein was left with 115,000.
