Lyons Shoves the River, Doubles

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Pat Lyons raised to 16,000 pre-flop and was called by Mark McGaffin. Lyons continued for another 16,000 on the {2-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop, and McGaffin called.

Lyons bet 22,000 on the {9-Diamonds} turn and McGaffin stuck around to see the {10-Clubs} river. This time Lyons shoved for around 100,000, sending McGaffin into the tank.

McGaffin eventually called and Lyons showed {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a rivered two pair, tens and sevens. "Don't show, it might be a winner," Lyons said to McGaffin, who mucked his hand.

"I was bluffing the river anyway. I got lucky," Lyons said.

Dileo Hits Miracle Runout

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Nicholas Dileo got the remainder of his chips all in on a flop of {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. Dileo had {q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, but was drawing thin against the {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} of his opponent for a flopped set.

Needing a miracle to stay alive in the tournament, Dileo hit the {q-Diamonds} on the turn and the {q-Spades} on the river for runner-runner quads.

"Yes!" he yelled, raising his arms in the air. Dileo said that was the first time he had been all in during the tournament. He stopped to take a picture of the board before stacking up his new chips.
