Cheffy Shows Sullivan the Nuts

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Louis Cheffy and Dwayne Sullivan went heads-up to a {4-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} flop. Cheffy checked from the big blind, then called when Sullivan bet 300,000.

On the {4-Spades} turn, Cheffy checked over to Sullivan, who put out 1,000,000. Cheffy then came back with an all-in raise for 510,000, and Sullivan called with some hesitation.

Cheffy showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for the flopped nut flush, while Sullivan was drawing thin with {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}. The river came {9-Spades} and Cheffy doubled up.

With 29 players remaining, Cheffy is looking to better his 29th-place finish in this event 10 years ago. "I would've folded the nut flush in your situation," Jonathan Ingalls joked.
