Raymer Proves Sticky

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

An opponent in early position raised pre-flop and Greg Raymer came along from the small blind. The flop came {4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, and Raymer check-called a bet of 10,000.

His opponent bet another 10,000 on the {6-Clubs} turn, and again Raymer stuck around. Both players checked the {9-Diamonds} river.

"I have a pair other than the seven," Raymer said, turning over {q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. His opponent mucked as Raymer went over 300,000 chips.
