Einsohn Takes it Down

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Jarod Einsohn raised under the gun to 18,000 and Michael Brinkenhoff defended the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Brinkenhoff led out for 15,000. Einsohn called quickly as he jokingly said, "you're not supposed to lead into me."

The turn was the {5-Spades} and both players checked to see the {3-Hearts} on the river. Brinkenhoff threw out a bet of 22,000 and Einsohn snap-called. Brinkenhoff tabled {q-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a missed straight draw and the dealer shipped the pot to Einsohn when he tabled {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}.
