McKeehen Picks Off a Bluff

Level 9 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Joe McKeehen raised under the gun to 3,500 and the big blind defended.

On a flop of {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, the big blind check called a bet of 3,000.

The {4-Hearts} fell on the turn and the big blind checked to McKeehen who put in a bet of 10,000. His opponent min-raised to 20,000 and McKeehen made the call.

The river was the {7-Clubs} and the big blind fired in a bet of 25,000. McKeehen gave it a little over 30 seconds as he contemplated what to do. Eventually, he threw in five 5,000 chips and his opponent tabled {j-Spades}{6-Hearts} for jack-high and McKeehen took down the pot when he showed the {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.
