Cimbolas' Stack Growing

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

On a flop of {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and roughly 300,000 in the middle, Matas Cimbolas checked to Steve Rosen who fired in a bet of 200,000. Cimbolas raised to 450,000 and Rosen made the call.

The {4-Clubs} fell on the turn and Cimbolas fired out again, this time for 375,000. Rosen thought about it for a brief moment while eying his stack, and then let his hand go.

Racener Triples While Andler Falls

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Christopher Andler
Christopher Andler

John Racener open-jammed for 75,000 from the hijack, Christopher Andler three-bet to 375,000 from the cutoff and Brian Rast called from the button.

Andler left himself just 20,000 behind, and checked his option after the {8-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{j-Spades} flop hit the felt. Rast tossed out 20,000 and after a clock was called, Andler tossed in his last four chips.

John Racener: {k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Christopher Andler: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Brian Rast: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Racener took the lead after flopping two-pair while Andler needed to spike his ace or jack on the river, but the {4-Clubs} turn followed by the {3-Diamonds} river ended his tournament while Racener collected his triple-up.

Couple in a Row for Benitez

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Francisco Benitez raised the button to 120,000 and Jonas Mackoff defended the big blind.

On the {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop, Mackoff check-folded to the 80,000 continuation bet from Benitez.

The following hand Benitez raised again, this time from the cutoff and only Alan Sternberg made the call In the big blind.

The flop came {8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and both players checked. The {9-Spades} came on the turn and Sternberg led out for 100,000, which Benitez called.

On the {5-Clubs} river, Sternberg led out again, this time sizing to 175,000. After a few moments, Benitez called the bet and Sternberg tabled {a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for trip fives before being shown the bad news of {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} from Benitez.

Vallinas Can't Hit Live Cards

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Action folded to Jon Vallinas who raised all in for a little over 300,000 and Uri Reichenstein called from the big blind.

Jon Vallinas: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Uri Reichenstein: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}

Vallinas was behind holding live cards but it was Reichenstein who connected with the {9-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop.

The {3-Clubs} turn wasn't a good card for Vallinas, taking away three of his outs as it gave Reichenstein the nut flush draw.

Vallinas needed some help on the river but the {8-Diamonds} fell down pairing the board and ended his tournament.

Rosen Hits a Diamond to Stay Alive

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Jun Obara raised the button to 100,000 and both Steve Rosen and Lachezar Petkov called in the blinds.

On the {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop, Rosen ripped all-in for 920,000. Petkov quickly folded and after a little deliberation Obara made the call.

Steve Rosen: {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Jun Obara: {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}

Obara was ahead with his pair of jacks and the {6-Clubs} on the turn was safe. The {10-Diamonds} on the river was exactly what Rosen was looking for as he completed his flush for a good-sized double-up.
