Burchfield Hits Lucky River to Bust Two

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Kris Burchfield
Kris Burchfield

No-Limit Hold'em

On one of the first hands of the day, Kris Burchfield raised pre-flop, Jason Dabney moved all in for 340,000, and Orod Ashegh called all in for his last 310,000.

"Alright, let's gamble," Burchfield said as he called.

Jason Dabney: {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Orod Ashegh: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Kris Burchfield: {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}

Ashegh spiked a queen on the {3-Clubs}{q-Spades}{j-Clubs} flop and stayed ahead on the {j-Spades} turn. But the river brought the {4-Diamonds}, improving Burchfield to a full house and eliminating both players.

"Running hot," Burchfield said as he took the chip lead.

"So that's how you got all those chips," Ashegh said before he and Dabney headed for the payout line.
