Norton Folds Aces Pre-Flop to Coghlan

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

A player in middle position was all in for a short-stack when David Coghlan raised to 150,000. Corey Norton went into the tank for several minutes before folding {a-}{a-}{x-}{x-} face-up.

"I didn't want to play that for 150," Norton said.

Coghlan showed {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and the all-in player had {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs}. The board ran out {4-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades} and the pocket kings split the pot.

"Aces would've won," Norton said as he saw a potential chip-leading pot go in another direction.
