Level 31 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
David Tran
David Tran

David Tran opened to 80,000 from early position and he was called by Ari Engel in middle position, Sohale Khalili on the button and AP Garza completed the action in the big blind.

Tran continued for a bet of 80,000 when it was checked to him on a {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop. Engel called the 80,000 but Khalili and Garza let their hands go.

The {q-Spades} fell on the turn. Tran who was first to act led for 180,000 to which Engel called again.

The board completed when the {2-Spades} hit the river. This time Tran sized up with a bet of 325,000. Engel counted out calling chips then set them aside to think the hand over. He looked at Tran and said, "Do you have me beat?". Engel mucked his hand a few moments later

Ap Garza
Ap Garza

Ap Garza opened to 125,000 on the button and David Tran three-bet to 400,000 in the big blind. Garza moved all in and Tran called fairly quickly.

Ap Garza: {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
David Tran: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Garza ran into Tran's big blind Big Slick and needed help. The {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop left him drawing slim to a runner-runner flush, but he was dead on the turn as the {j-Clubs} and {6-Diamonds} completed the board.
