Lonis Makes a Flush, McKeehen Out

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Kevin Rand raised from under the gun and Jesse Lonis called from the small blind. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Lonis checked to Rand who threw in a bet. Lonis check-raised, Rand three-bet and Lonis just called.

The turn was the {j-Clubs} and both players checked to the {3-Spades} on the river. Lonis tossed in a bet and Rand quickly called. Lonis flipped over {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for the nut-flush and Rand conceded.

At the table beside, Joe McKeehen was left on the short stack from the previous orbit. He clashed again with Kalyan Chivukula in the blinds and McKeehen came out on the short end of the stick once again as he walked to the payout desk.
