Welcome to the opening day of Event #38: $3,000 6-Handed Limit Hold'em inside the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino. It is the second limit hold'em event of the 2021 World Series of Poker.

In 2019, Tu Dao won this tournament, besting the other 192 entries. The last event also generated a prizepool of $521,100. Dao had to overcome a final table that included Ian O'Hara and Chad Eveslage to capture her first WSOP gold bracelet. This event is sure to attract some of the best limit hold 'em players along with some mixed game aficionados.

The action will get underway at 3 p.m. local time inside the Amazon Room. Players will be given a starting stack of 40,000 chips with the blinds starting at 200/300. The Levels will be 60 minutes in length with a 15-minute break after every two Levels. A total of 10 Levels will be played on Day 1 before action resumes on Day 2 on Sunday.
