Stolzenfeld At 24 Million

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Steven Stolzenfeld raised to 800,000 preflop and from middle position, Frank Lagodich called him. Action folded around and the two of them took a flop.

The flop came out {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Lagodich called a bet of 1,400,000 from Stolzenfeld.

The turn came a {q-Hearts} and Stolzenfeld bet once more, sizing up to 2,200,000. Lagodich called once more and the river was dealt.

The river came out a {j-Clubs} and Stolzenfeld downsized versus his previous bet to 1,600,000 sending Lagodich into the tank. After two minutes of thinking, Lagodich called and Stolzenfeld tabled {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for queens and fives with a king kicker and Lagodich mucked his hand. Giving Stolzenfeld the pot.

Platt Holds For Huge Double

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Jeff Platt
Jeff Platt

From the button, Matthew Raffoul raised to 850,000. Jeff Platt jammed for 8,200,000 from the button.

Raffoul went deep into the tank. After about three minutes, a tablemate called clock and the floor started the countdown before Raffoul called with four seconds on the countdown.

Platt had the {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and he needed to hold against the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} of Raffoul.

The flop came with all low cards as it was spread {7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. The turn stayed low with the {4-Spades} and the river was clean for Platt as the {5-Diamonds} came off to secure the huge double for him and leave Raffoul very short stacked.
