Nakamura Catches A Bluff

Level 21 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Tamon Nakamura raised to 35,000 from under the gun. It folded to Taylor Howard in middle position who made the call and they went heads-up to the flop.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. Nakamura continued for 35,000 and Howard called.

The turn card brought the {7-Hearts}. Nakamura checked to Howard who bet 90,000 and then he called.

The {j-Diamonds} fell on the river pairing the board. Nakamura checked once more and Howard sized up to a bet of 230,000. Nakamura tanked for several minutes before making the right call to catch a bluff and move over the million chip mark.

Tamon Nakamura: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Taylor Howard: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Howard bluffed two streets and could not get it through. Nakamura scooped a massive pot with pocket nines.
