Coffee Raises the Flop

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Thomas Boivin raised in the hijack to 1,800 and Jeff Coffee called in the cutoff before the big blind came along as well.

The dealer fanned a flop of {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts}. The big blind checked, Boivin bet 800 and Coffee instantly raised to 2,300. Both the big blind and Boivin quickly mucked their hands and the dealer shipped the pot to Coffee.
