On fifth street, Anderson got the last of his chips in with his up cards of . Wang then raised to put Benson at risk as well, with him showing and Wang showing .

The hands were exposed with Wang already having made a full house of eights over sevens. Benson ended up making a seven- low for half the pot along with an irrelevant ace-high flush, and Anderson mucked his hand as he was eliminated from the tournament.

At an adjacent table, Andrew Yeh was also eliminated, leaving just five more eliminations until the money.
