Three-Way All In Results in a Chop

Level 31 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

A three-way all in resulted in Mark Lilomaiva and Max Pinnola both doubling through Marco Townsend and chopping the pot between them.

The board read {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{4-Spades}. Lilomaiva had {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, Pinnola {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, and Townsend had {k-}{k-}.

There was some confusion over how to chop the pot and the tournament floor had to be called in. Pinnola, the shortest of the three stacks, was determined to be all in for 3,800,000.

He doubled to 5,300,000, Lilomaiva ended the hand with 11,500,000, while Townsend was left with about 1,000,000.
