Takayama Loses a Chunk

Level 22 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Mike Takayama check-called a bet of 130,000 on the {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} turn and the {4-Hearts} river was checked. The Filipino was shown the {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and that won the pot.

Shortly after, a three-way limped pot led to the {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop on which the player in the blinds bet, earning calls from Baseem Nsier and Takayama. On the {6-Spades} turn, Nsier bet 100,000 and Takayama raised to 260,000 for Nsier to call. Both checked the {4-Hearts} river and Nsier won the pot with {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for the straight.

Nsier then lost an all-in showdown when a short stack didn't see his raise from under the gun, called preflop and jammed a {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop with {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. He received the call from Nsier with {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and the river brought another club.
