Kenneth Po Bubbles Event #39 After One Card at a Time Sweat

Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

After a lengthy bubble that included several hands in hand-for-hand play, the bubble boy ended up being Kenneth Po as he retold the story to PokerNews afterwards.

Po was down to just 3,000 with the big blind at 4,000. He went all in blind and three other players played out the hand.

The board ran out {3-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{a-Spades}{k-Spades}{2-Spades}, and eventually, one player bet the other two out of the pot. It was then Po's turn to finally check his cards to see if he survived on the bubble.

He sweated the cards one at a time "as any true mixed game player," he said. The first one was the {7-Spades}, giving him three chances for a flush. The next card was the {3-Hearts} for a pair, the third card the {q-Diamonds} for two-pair. The fourth card was a letdown as it was the {4-Clubs}.

His opponent showed the {6-Spades}{3-Spades} in his hand to make the flush and Po was eliminated on the bubble.
