Maue Finds a Call to Double

Level 14 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

With 300,000 in the middle on the {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop, Sam Soverel bet 50,000, and Leonard Maue raised to 135,000. Soverel called and they saw the {5-Diamonds} turn. This time Maue led for 55,000 and Soverel called.

On the {j-Hearts} river, Maue bet 105,000 leaving himself about 115,000 behind. Soverel stuck in a stack worth 500,000 and Maue went deep into the tank.

The clock was eventually called and Maue stuck in the last of his chips. Soverel turned over {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} but Maue had it beat with {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for the diamond flush.
