Funaro Wins Another One

Aleksandr Shevlyakov opened to 5,000 in early position and was called by Yiming Li and Frank Funaro in the blinds. The flop came {9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and the blinds checked to Shevlyakov who continued for 5,500. Li check-raised to 14,500 which got a call from Funaro but Shevlyakov folded.

The turn brought the {9-Clubs} and Li led out with a bet of 15,000. Funaro still called and the {5-Hearts} completed the board. Li checked this time and Funaro quickly checked back. Li showed {3-Spades}{3-Hearts} for a small two pair while Funaro held {a-Spades}{4-Spades} for a slightly bigger two pair.
