Event #33: $800 Eight-Handed No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack Begins at 11:00 AM

It’s time for Day 1 of Event 33: $800 Eight-Handed No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack of the 2021 World Series of Poker. This event will begin at 11 a.m. local time on Sunday, October 17th.

All players that enter will receive a starting stack of 40,000 and will play 30-minute blind levels with one re-entry allowed. Late registration will remain open until the end of level 12 (~6:55 PM) and there will be a 20-minute break after every 4 levels with a 75-minute dinner break after level 12 (~5:40 PM). All players that are remaining after Level 22 will bag their chips for Day 2 restart on Monday, October 18th at 12 p.m local time.

2019 was the last time this event was played, attracting a total of 2,808 entries and building a prize pool of $1,999,296. At the end of the three days, there was only one man left standing and that was Robert Mitchell, taking home his first WSOP gold bracelet and $297,537. Mitchell bested Marco Bognanni who finished second place for $183,742.
