Alex Outhred

Alex Outhred was down to just six big blinds and he shoved all in for 6,250,000 in the cutoff. Ran Ilani, the big stack at the table, made the call from the big blind.

Alex Outhred: {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Ran Ilani: {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}

On the flop of {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs} both players flopped a pair, Outhred's being the bigger of the two. The {3-Spades} on the turn gave Ilani a flush draw but it was the {8-Hearts} on the river that gave Ilani three eights and eliminated Outhred in sixth place.

Jorge Hou
Jorge Hou

Jorge Hou just doubled up Ran Koller when Koller held ace-jack vs Hou's pocket queens. Koller spiked an ace on the flop and scored a double up.

Just two hands later, Hou pushed all in for 5,350,000 from the hijack and Oleg Titov called from the big blind.

Jorge Hou: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Oleg Titov: {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Spades}{a-Spades} and Titov made two pair. After the stacks were counted, Titov had Hou covered by just 300,000 chips which meant Hou was eliminated in seventh place.

Cody Brinn Eliminated in 9th Place ($25,746)

Level 37 : 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Cody Brinn
Cody Brinn

Florian Guimond called from the small blind and Cody Brinn raised to 1,400,000 chips. That prompted Guimond to re-raise all-in and Maloney snap-called.

The cards were turned face-up and it was Guimond with {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} that needed help against the at-risk player Brinn, who held {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}.

The dealer flopped {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Brinn remained in the lead.

The turn, however, was the {q-Clubs} and Guimond hopped in front with a spiked full house.

The river was the {8-Spades}, and that sealed the fate of Brinn who was eliminated in 9th place and took home $25,746 for his efforts.
