Tsai Quickly Bounces Back

Level 29 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Eric Tsai opened to 325,000 from under the gun and Jonathan Jaffe called in the big blind. The flop fell {k-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Jaffe checked to Tsai who continued for 225,000. Jaffe check-raised to 700,000 and Tsai instantly mucked.

On the next hand, Scott Ball made it 350,000 from under the gun and Tsai defended from the big blind. The flop came {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Tsai check-called a bet of 350,000 from Ball.

The turn brought the {k-Clubs} and both players quickly checked to the {q-Clubs} on the river. Tsai checked for the third time and Ball fired in a bet of 460,000. Tsai went into the tank for a minute before counting out a check-raise to 1,460,000. Ball took his turn in the tank for nearly two minutes and eventually laid his hand down.
