Grafton Rivers a Wheel

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

Sam Grafton opened to 1,000 in the cutoff and was called by the player on the button. The player in the small blind then three-bet to 4,800 and only Grafton called.

The small blind continued for 4,500 on the {4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop and Grafton called.

The turn brought the {k-Spades} and the small blind check-called a 7,000 bet from Grafton.

It was checked to Grafton again when the {3-Hearts} completed the board, and Grafton overbet the pot for 65,000.

"Will you show me if I fold?" Grafton's opponent asked. Grafton remained silent.

Eventually the small blind called and Grafton revealed {a-Spades}{5-Spades} for a wheel. His opponent showed he held {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and mucked.
