Jaffe Stops the Bleeding

Jonathan Jaffe raised to 200,000 in the cutoff and was called by Eric Tsai in the small blind. The flop fell {q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Tsai check-called a bet of 300,000 from Jaffe.

The {2-Diamonds} landed on the turn and Tsai checked again. Jaffe sized up a bet of 600,000 but Tsai stuck around to see the {k-Clubs} on the river. Tsai checked for the third time and Jaffe pushed out a bet of 1,050,000. Tsai instantly threw his cards away and Jaffe collected the pot.

Hall checked again and Jaffe checked it back to see the {a-Clubs} fall on the river. Hall led out for 200,000 this time and Jaffe went into the tank for over a minute before finally throwing his cards to the muck.
