Tseng Sends Lovgren Home

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Chia Tseng opened the action to 15,000. The action folded to Sofia Lovgren in the big blind who raised to 40,000. Tseng called after a few moments.

The flop came {j-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Lovgren led by moving all-in for about 100,000. Tseng who had Lovgren barely covered went deep into the tank. After several minutes, another player who was not in the hand called the clock. Tseng ended up making the call before the clock ran out.

Sofia Lovgren: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Chia Tseng: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Lovgren had flopped the world, with the nut flush draw and a straight draw. Tseng flopped an open-ended straight draw.

The turn card was the {6-Diamonds} and the {a-Hearts} fell on the river. Lovgren rivered a pair of aces but the ace completed Tseng's straight. Lovgren was left with crumbs and busted shortly thereafter.
