Monnette Continues to Climb

Level 19 : 15,000/25,000, 0 ante

Terrence Chan raised it up from the hijack and was called by Scott Tuttle on the button, John Monnette in the small blind, and Nate Silver in the big blind. The flop fell {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and the blinds checked to Chan who threw in a bet. Tuttle called and Monnette raised which got Silver to fold. Both Chan and Tuttle called.

The turn was the {5-Clubs} and Monnette led out with a bet. Chan called and Tuttle folded this time. The river was the {8-Clubs} and Monnette fired in another bet. Chan thought for a minute before making the call and Monnette showed {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} to scoop the pot.
