Caputo Doubles Through Jeong in Massive Pot

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Brandon Caputo
Brandon Caputo

Brandon Caputo just became the tournament chip leader after doubling up through Andrew Jeong.

Both players saw a flop of {10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts}. Caputo bet 175,000 from early position, Jeong raised to 500,000 from the big blind, and Caputo called. Jeong bet again on the {2-Hearts} turn, this time for 675,000.

Caputo took his time with the decision, counting out the rest of his stack before calling. Jeong slowed down with a check on the {9-Spades} river and Caputo moved all in for his remaining 2,075,000.

Now it was Jeong's turn to tank, spending several minutes on a call that would either make him the chip leader or put a huge dent in his stack. He decided to call but mucked when Caputo showed {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for the flush on the turn.

"What a turn," Caputo said as he stacked his new-found chips.
