Michael Wins Two All-Ins

Level 12 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Marcie Michael was just the beneficiary of fortunate run-outs on consecutive all-in hands.

On the first hand, as relayed by her tablemates, Michael called the shove of a short-stack with {a-}{8-} and was up against {k-}{j-}. Her opponent flopped two pair on a {a-}{k-}{j-} board before the {8-} on the turn gave Michael a better two pair and the knockout.

The next hand, Michael three-bet shoved for 18,500 over an open from early position. Evan Zlock called from the hijack before the original raiser came back with a four-bet to 48,000. Zlock reraised all-in and the early position raiser folded, leaving him heads-up with Michael.

Marcie Michael: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Evan Zlock: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

Michael needed help and got it when the {6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop gave her a set. The {9-Diamonds} on the turn opened possibilities of a chop, but the river came an inconsequential {j-Clubs} to give Michael a triple-up.

She is up to 61,500 after those two hands, while Zlock, who was awarded the side pot, has 192,000.
