It's a busy day for WSOP.com Pennsylvania players, as not only does Event #8: $1,000 No Limit Hold'em PA Championship have its first flight today, but another full event, Event #6: $400 No Limit Hold'em PKO, will take place at the same time, beginning at 5:30 p.m. EST.
In today's PKO event, half of the prize pool is awarded as a traditional No-Limit Hold'em tournament, in order of finishing position. The other half will be a bounty on each player's head. Knock that player out, and half of their bounty will go directly into your account in cold, hard cash. The other half will be added to your bounty, making it that much more enticing to try and bust you and claim that bounty! The eventual winner of the tournament will not only take the largest part of the prize pool, but their own huge bounty as well.
Players will begin with 20,000 in tournament chips, and blinds will start at 25/50 and increase every 15-minutes. Late registration and a single re-entry is available until 9:25 p.m. EST. This is a one-day event, meaning a winner will be crowned this evening, who will take down the top prize money and a coveted WSOP Gold Bracelet.
If there was a Player of the Series for this Online Bracelet Series, it would currently be a two man race; Travis "UnitedWeZag" Herzing has already racked up three final tables out of the four events that have taken place so far, including a sixth-place performance in last night's Event #5: $777 No Limit Hold'em Lucky 7's. Also at that final table was Dean "TheRealYoshi" Morrow, who finished in ninth-place. Morrow already earned a WSOP Gold Bracelet in this series, however, shipping Event #4: $400 No Limit Hold'em 6-Max earlier in the series. Can Herzing or Morrow continue their hot streak and add another deep run to their already impressive series? We'll be keeping an eye on them for the rest of the series to find out.
PokerNews will be on hand all tournament long providing live coverage from start to finish, so stay tuned as the latest WSOP.com Pennsylvania Gold Bracelet winner is crowned!
