Dunst Doubles Up

Level 8 : 120/240, 30 ante

The under-the-gun player opened to 480, Javier "BradCoultas" Zarco three-bet from middle position to 1,440, and Tony "Panoramic" Dunst four-bet all in for his last 6,975 from the hijack. It folded back around to Zarco, who called and showed {a-Spades}{7-Spades} putting him behind the {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} from Dunst.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} giving Zarco a pair but still needing help. The turn was the {k-Hearts}, and the river was the {9-Diamonds}, giving Dunst the double up.

This summer, the World Series of Poker (WSOP) will hold 66 gold bracelet events online between WSOP.com and GG Poker.

The former client will cater to players in Nevada and New Jersey (players in Delaware are NOT able to participate), while the latter will serve the international base.

WSOP.com will hold 33 events – one each day for the month of July – while the other 33 will take place on GG Poker.

For players either in Nevada or New Jersey (remember, you must be 21+ to participate), or those planning to travel in, PokerNews put together all the information you need to know and also answered some lingering questions, which you can read here.

Download WSOP.com

The first step in getting set up to play on WSOP.com is to download the client. You can do so for both mobile (Android and iOS) and desktop (Windows 7 or higher and Mac OS X 10.6.8).

Also, the WSOP.com client can only support playing one table at a time on mobile.

Finally, pot-limit Omaha (PLO) games and tournaments are not compatible on mobile and must be played via a computer.

Lupo Doesn't Make the Flush Draw, Re-enters

Level 7 : 100/200, 25 ante

Brandon "Lumiere" Conrad raised from the hijack to 400 and Daniel "centrfieldr" Lupo defended the big blind.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} and it checked through to the turn.

The turn was the {7-Clubs} and Lupo led for 537 and Conrad called.

Lupo went all in for 1,375 on the {q-Spades} river and Conrad called with the {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, forcing Lupo to muck the {5-Hearts}{k-Hearts} missed flush draw and re-enter.

Laplante Rivers Gold

Level 7 : 100/200, 25 ante
Ryan Laplante
Ryan Laplante

Action folded to "Gambler381" who raised to 1,200 from the cutoff and Ryan "Protential" Laplante called on the button.

The {2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop saw "Gambler381" check-call Laplante's 800 and and then they did the same for 1,800 after the {2-Diamonds} appeared on the turn.

Once the {a-Diamonds} completed the board on the river, "Gambler381" led out for 4,050 and then called their 9,306 stack after Laplante raised to 9,500.

"Gambler381" showed {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for the flush but it was no good as Laplante held {a-Spades}{2-Spades} for a full house and won the pot.

Melissa "luckmgmt" Bryne Looking to Bring the "GrindHaus" Some WSOP Gold

Level 7 : 100/200, 25 ante
Melissa Bryne
Melissa Bryne

Texan poker pro Melissa "luckmgmt" Bryne has spent the majority of quarantine firing up her Twitch stream and grinding the online streets, and Bryne, who now calls Las Vegas home, is looking for some WSOP.com Online Bracelet Series success.

Bryne says that in general, "I primarily play online but definitely mix in some live cash and tournaments when I need a break from the computer," according to her Twitch bio, but she's shown her chops in live tournaments, as well. In one of the last WSOP Circuit events before the Covid-19 pandemic, Bryne chalked up four cashes at the WSOPC Choctaw series, including a deep run in the $1,700 Main Event, ultimately finishing in twenty-ninth place for $7,421. Bryne's biggest score came in 2017, when she defeated a field of 327 entrants in a $500 No Limit Hold'em event at the Wynn to earn $36,708.

Bryne is a part of the "GrindHaus", a group of poker players living together in Las Vegas that includes Bryne's boyfriend, Jerod "whiskeydeck" Smith and Brian "TGBpoker" Frenzel among others. The group all participate in Twitch streams, podcasts, and other general hijinks on their active and entertaining social media pages.

Bryne, who is in today's field, will be looking to catch her first WSOP Gold Bracelet on stream in front of her loyal fanbase, and we'll be keeping tabs on her throughout today's play.
