Level 12 : 250/500, 60 ante

Four players went to the flop on a raised pot of 800 as the flop came the {5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. The first player to act checked, William "Potrippper" Klevitz bet 2,111, Roland "Prngls12" Israelashvili called and the other two players folded.

WSOP Legend: Doyle Brunson's Final Bracelet

Level 11 : 200/400, 50 ante
WSOP Legend Doyle Brunson
WSOP Legend Doyle Brunson

At the beginning of the 2005 WSOP, Doyle Brunson remained the co-king of the all-time bracelet count, tied along with Johnny Chan at nine. However, as the series drew toward its close in late June, that was no longer the case — Chan had overtaken him by winning No. 10 to stand atop the mountain alone.

Brunson was already phasing out his tournament play, having cashed precisely zero times that summer and just three times in the previous two combined, although one had resulted in a bracelet victory.

When it came time for Event #31: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed, Brunson dusted off his tournament chops and made a run.

Ladies Fail Kerstetter

Level 11 : 200/400, 50 ante
Jamie Kerstetter
Jamie Kerstetter

Jamie "DanBilzerian" Kerstetter three-bet to 1,700 from late position and only Saurav "blackoutmook" Desai called from the big blind.

The {6-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop saw Desai check-jam for 13,100 after Kerstetter continued for 1,640 and Kerstetter called off her 7,806 stack.

Saurav "blackoutmook" Desai: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Jamie "DanBilzerian" Kerstetter: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Both players held made hands but Desai's was better and the {5-Spades} turn didn't change a thing.

Kerstetter needed a queen on the river but the {k-Diamonds} fell instead and ended her tournament.

Matt "RubberFist" Stout Looking to Nab First Gold Bracelet

Level 10 : 160/320, 40 ante
Matt Stout
Matt Stout

One of the most common names among the top finishers in WSOP.com high-stakes tournaments is "RubberFist." That one belongs to Matt Stout, as long-standing a tournament presence as any dating back to his days as "all_in_at420," the nom de guerre under which he's racked up almost $4 million in cashes.

A six-time WSOP Circuit ring winner, Stout has been killing it on the virtual felt in recent years and is in action today.

First, in 2019 he added a third ring to his collection, taking down Event #8: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller 6-Max for $47,330 in a field of 177 runners.

Then, he crushed it even harder in March 2020. He shipped Event #2: $215 No-Limit Hold'em Monster Stack for $43,286. After a sixth-place finish in another $1K six-max event, Stout tasted victory again in Event #11: No-Limit Hold'em - BIG $500, banking $63,234. Along with three smaller cashes, that was enough to secure Casino Champion honors and make good on his pre-series prediction to his wife.

Stout, the founder of the Charity Series of Poker (CSOP), continued churning out solid results with eight cashes during last year's domestic bracelet series, though none saw him run particularly deep.

More recently, Stout captured his sixth ring last month when he won the WSOP.com Summer Online Circuit Event #5: $50,000 GTD PLO Big $500 6-Max for $13,955.

He'll try to keep things rolling this year and maybe even make a run at his first bracelet.

Van Auken Got Set Up and Rebought

Level 9 : 140/280, 35 ante

Four players saw a {3-Spades}{5-Hearts}{a-Clubs} flop for 580 a piece and action was checked to "akapp" who continued for 1,741 from earlt position.

Action was on Eric "8Bracelets" Van Auken who raised all in for 6,235 and action folded back to "akapp" who called.

"akapp": {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Eric "8Bracelets" Van Auken: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

"akapp" was ahead after flopping a set of threes but the {j-Spades} turn did keep Van Auken alive drawing to either an ace for jack on the river.

Unfortunately for Van Auken, the {9-Hearts} came on the river and he re-entered the tournament.
