Sandev's Sevens No Good

Level 9 : 15,000/30,000, 3,500 ante

Park Yu "FacelessMan" Cheung opened to 60,000 from early position and Georgi Sandev called off for his last 37,870 from middle position. Andres "MaShallah" De Agustin also called from the big blind.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and De Agustin check-called a 50,000 bet from Cheung.

The turn brought the {6-Hearts} and De Agustin checked again — prompting a 99,288 bet from Cheung. De Agustin folded and hands were tabled.

Park Yu "FacelessMan" Cheung: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Gerogi Sandev: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

Cheung was well out in front with his aces and the {q-Clubs} river sent Sandev to the virtual rail.

Lima Calls Down Correctly

Level 8 : 12,500/25,000, 3,000 ante

Dylan "NewAccRunG!d" Rowe opened to 50,000 from early position and found one caller in Lucio "WizardOfAz" Lima from the big blind.

Lima then proceeded to check-call down on every street. First for 25,000 on the {j-Hearts}{k-Spades}{10-Spades} flop, then for 100,000 on the {5-Diamonds} turn, and finally for a 291,000 shove from Rowe on the {8-Diamonds} river.

Rowe showed {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for a pair of tens, which were no good against the {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} of Lima for a pair of jacks.

Cheung Finishes Off Lakemeier

Level 7 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

Park Yu "FacelessMan" Cheung opened to 40,000 first-to-act and action folded over to Jens "Tankanza" Lakemeier, who shoved for their last 77,731. Cheung called and hands were tabled.

Jens "Tankanza" Lakemeier: {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Park Yu "FacelessMan" Cheung: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The {3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs} board kept Cheung's ladies out in front and Lakemeier was knocked out of contention.

"Rabiosa94" Leaves Klodnicki Short

Level 7 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

Bahar "reallyeasy" Musa opened to 40,000 from under-the-gun and was called by "Rabiosa94" directly behind. Action then folded over to Chris Klodnicki in the small blind, who squeezed to 170,000. Everyone folded except "Rabiosa94", who called.

The flop came {q-Spades}{a-Spades}{2-Spades} and Klodnicki continued for 109,200. "Rabiosa94" called.

Klodnicki checked on the {k-Hearts} turn — prompting a shove for 456,474 from "Rabiosa94". Klodnicki quickly called and hands were revealed.

Chris Klodnicki: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
"Rabiosa94": {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

Both players held a set, but "Rabiosa94" was out in front with their aces and would need to fade a spade or a king to double through.

The river fell the {4-Diamonds} and Klodnicki was forced to surrender a substantial portion of his stack.

Borlan Continues to Crush

Level 6 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Joao "FreshMeat!" Gaspar open-shoved for his last 169,033 from the cutoff and was called by Dan "NeedLuck" Borlan in the big blind.

Joao "FreshMeat!" Gaspar: {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Dan "NeedLuck" Borlan: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Gaspar was slightly ahead, but the {9-Spades}{k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} immediately put Borlan way head. The {3-Spades} turn and {j-Diamonds} river kept Borlan best with a pair of kings and Gaspar was eliminated.

Borlan has maintained the chip lead and currently has over 50 big blinds more than second chip position.
