Filatov Heats Up

Level 13 : 1,750/3,500, 450 ante

Just before blinds went up, action opened with a call from Hyunsup "hskimcore" Kim and a raise from "hgbs7824" in middle position. Anatoly Filatov three-bet to 18,000 and both players called to see a flop.

The flop came [1-h9h1d] and Kim checked. "hgbs7824" bet 20,229 and Filatov called before Kim quickly folded.

The turn was {4-Spades} and "hgbs7824" checked. Filatov fired 81,407 to cover the last 64714 of "hgbs7824" and got the call. Filatov turned over {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} for the straight draw and "hgbs7824" showed {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for the favored top pair.

The river {a-Diamonds} was a lucky one for Filatov and he secured another big pot to move near the chip lead.

Filatov Rolls Along with Double Knockout

Level 13 : 1,750/3,500, 450 ante

Hyunsup "hskimcore" Kim came along from under the gun and Mike Watson raised to 26,156 from the cutoff. Filatov shoved from the small blind and got calls from Kim and Watson, who were both at risk.

Mike Watson: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Hyunsup "hskimcore" Kim: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Anatoly Filatov: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

The flop of {10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{j-Hearts} gave Filatov the early lead. The turn {9-Hearts} was no help and the {a-Hearts} sealed the deal on the double knockout for a red-hot Filatov.
