Nemeth Wins Monster Pot Off Simao

Joao Simao limped from the small blind. Andras Nemeth jacked it up to 400,000 from the big blind. Simao three-bet to 1,200,000 and Nemeth called.

Simao fired out for 1,300,000 on the {8-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} flop and Nemeth called. The {7-Diamonds} on the turn put four diamonds on the board and Simao checked before he called a bet by Nemeth for 1,487,125.

The {3-Spades} completed the board on the river and Simao checked. Nemeth jammed for 3,965,859 and won the pot after Simao folded.

After the hand, Nemeth showed he whiffed the board by turning over his {k-Spades}{10-Spades}.

The {k-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop gave Hu a huge advantage in the hand. However, the {a-Spades} turn followed by the {8-Diamonds} river gave Nemeth a better two-pair to eliminate Hu in seventh place for $36,646. The final six players are guaranteed at least $48,867.

Andras Nemeth opened for 420,000 from the hijack. Espen "_sennj_" Sandvik raised to 1,140,000 from the small blind and Nemeth called.

Sandvik fired out for 920,000 on the {3-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop before he checked the {k-Diamonds} turn. Nemeth bet 1,117,500 and Sandvik jammed for 4,167,572. Nemeth snap-called and players turned over their hands.

Simao opened for 500,000 from the cutoff before he called a jam by Nemeth for 3,197,395.
