"FatSam66" Hooks "spittle" for Double

Level 8 : 120/240, 30 ante

"spittle" opened for 480 from late position and then called "FatSam66's" three-bet of 1,950 from the cutoff which brought the two players to the {6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{q-Clubs} flop.

"spittle" check-raised "FatSam66's" 3,800 continuation bet to 7,600 and "FatSam66" called for less holding 6,427.

"spittle": {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}
"FatSam66": {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

"spittle" flopped top-pair and the {5-Hearts} turn was no help to "FatSam66" as they needed to spike a jack on the river to stay alive.

Luckily for "FatSam66", their prayer was answered as the {j-Hearts} appeared on the river to secure their double-up.

Kroon Eliminates "SunDSolar"

Level 7 : 100/200, 25 ante
Mark Kroon
Mark Kroon

"SunDSolar" raised to 562 from the hijack and Mark "wiscomurray" Kroon three-bet to 1,386 next to act. Action folded back to "SunDSolar" and they called to see a {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop.

"SunDSolar" checked and Kroon bet 1,648. "SunDSolar" woke up with a check-raise to 6,192 and Kroon moved all in. "SunDSolar" called off the 8,507 he had behind and the hands were turned up.

"SunDSolar": {4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Mark "wiscomurray" Kroon: {7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

Kroon was ahead with two pair but his opponent had both straight and flush draws. Fortunately for Kroon, neither the {3-Clubs} turn nor {j-Diamonds} river hurt him and he scored the knockout.

Doubles Through "Doug2323"

Level 7 : 100/200, 25 ante

"Doug2323" opened for 575 from middle position and "niceniceazlv" three-bet jammed for 2,952 on the button. The blinds folded and action was back on "Doug2323" who called.

"Doug2323": {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
"niceniceazlv": {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

"Doug2323" held live cards but the {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop put "niceniceazlv" well in the lead with top two-pair.

The {8-Clubs} turn didn't change a thing nor the {5-Clubs} river as "niceniceazlv" secured their much-needed double.
