Whittington Hands "Pegasus" a Dirty Finish

Level 32 : 16,000/32,000, 4,000 ante
Mark Smith
Mark Smith

Blake "shampainpopn" Whittington opened for 64,000 and then called Mark "Pegasusmss" Smith's 354,304 three-bet jam from the big blind.

Mark "Pegasusmss" Smith: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Blake "shampainpopn" Whittington: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}

Smith was ahead and things turned bright after the {7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop gave him a full house.

Unfortunately for Smith, his brightness faded after the running {a-Diamonds} turn and {a-Hearts} river gave Whittington a better full house ending his tournament in 39th place for $3,490.29.

A Look at GGPoker's WSOP Gold Bracelets Winners

Level 32 : 16,000/32,000, 4,000 ante
WSOP GGpoker
WSOP GGpoker

On Sunday, July 19, GGPoker held its first-ever WSOP bracelet events — part of a 54-event schedule spread out across July, August, and into September. Unfortunately, on a night where three bracelet winners were supposed to be crowned, two of the events ran into a critical bug and had to be suspended to next week.

The lightning-fast Event #34: $525 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed — clocking in at a mere 3 hours and 15 minutes start to finish to make it the fastest-ever bracelet event — was unaffected by the technical issues and played out as normal. In total, 2,214 entries of $525 each were made to create a total prize pool of $1,107,000.

In the end, it was Shoma "pp_syon" Ishikawa of Japan writing history as GGPoker's first-ever online bracelet winner, as well as the third person from Japan after Naoya Kihara and Takahiro Nakai to claim the coveted prize. Ishikawa is an emerging talent from the land of the rising

Ishikawa may have been GGPoker's first-ever bracelet winner, but he's not the last. As the series rolls on, several others have been crowned.

Pegasus Flying High After Getting Lucky

Level 32 : 16,000/32,000, 4,000 ante
Mark "Pegasus" Smith
Mark "Pegasus" Smith

"Limpnutts" raised to 90,000 from the cutoff and Ken "ACE710" Neri three-bet all in for 418,812 from the button. Mark "Pegasusmss" Smith called off for 32,000 from the big blind and "Limpnutts" got out of the way.

Ken "ACE710" Neri: {10-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Mark "Pegasusmss" Smith" {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Smith was dominated but he got lucky when the {3-Hearts}{9-Spades}{j-Clubs} flop delivered him a pair of nines. The running {4-Clubs} turn and {4-Hearts} river were safe for the man known as "Pegasus" and his run continues.

Hatletky Eliminated by "ImThaMonkey"

Level 31 : 14,000/28,000, 3,500 ante

Action on the table folded around to Jamie "uosdwiSj3woH" Haletky who raised all in for 433,812 from the small blind and "ImThaMonkey" called from the big blind

"ImThaMonkey": {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Jamie "uosdwiSj3woH" Haletky: {k-Spades}{2-Clubs}

Haletky was ahead and nothing changed after the {4-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop.

The {q-Clubs} turn however, paired "ImThaMonkey" and the {7-Hearts} river ended Haletky's tournament.

Nadolski Closing in on a Milly

Level 31 : 14,000/28,000, 3,500 ante

"SlimyFish" raised to 56,000 from the cutoff and James "jerzrep" Nadolski three-bet all in for 532,494 from the small blind.

"Jmlorzy" called for less holding 352,955 from the big blind and action was back on "SlimyFish" who mucked their hand.

"Jmlorzy": {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
James "jerzrep" Nadolski: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Nadolski had his opponent crushed and the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{9-Hearts} runout didn't change a thing as "Jmlorzy" was eliminated from the tournament.
