Dunst Stacking Huge Early

Level 2 : 30/60, 0 ante
Tony Dunst
Tony Dunst

Tony "Panoramic" Dunst has already tasted the sweet success of a WSOP gold bracelet once in his career, as he took down Event #63: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em during the 2016 WSOP for $339,254. No stranger to WSOP success, he's already accumulated three times the starting chip stack in the early going.

In a recent hand, Terry "mrterry007" Fleischer raised to 135 from middle position, and Daniel "djp1006" Park called in the hijack. Dunst three-bet to 660 from the cutoff, and both Fleischer and Park called.

Action checked to Dunst on a {6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop, and he bet 600. Both Fleischer and Park folded, and Dunst took down another pot.

Big Pot For Kolpin With Aces

Level 2 : 30/60, 0 ante

Dale "LordBeerus" Aivas limped in from middle position, and Jason "Jasmely" Kolpin raised to 120 from the hijack. Phillip "ptdodge250" Hayes called on the button, as did Aivas.

Aivas checked the {k-Hearts}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop to Kolpin, who bet 337. Both Hayes and Aivas called.

The {4-Spades} fell on the turn, and Aivas checked again. Kolpin bet 1,461, and only Aivas called.

Aivas checked a third time on the {3-Hearts} river, and Kolpin bet 3,287. Aivas called, only to muck after Kolpin showed {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}.

Dirty River Leaves "KevinBlah" Feeling Blah

Level 1 : 25/50, 0 ante

Stephen "argyle123" Moreschi raised to 100 from the hijack, and was called by "KevinBlah" in the cutoff, "WaterOfLife" on the button, and "McCullough" in the big blind.

Action checked to "KevinBlah" on an {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop, and they bet 318. "WaterOfLife" and "McCullough" called, while Moreschi folded.

The {5-Diamonds} fell on the turn, and "McCullough" checked again. "KevinBlah" bet 1,034, and "WaterOfLife" folded. "McCullough" check-raised all in for 14,582, and "KevinBlah" called.

"McCullough": {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
"KevinBlah": {6-Spades}{5-Hearts}

"KevinBlah" had flopped the straight, but "McCullough" turned the same straight and had the nut flush draw to go with it. Sure enough, the {7-Diamonds} fell on the river, giving "McCullough" the nut flush and the double, while "KevinBlah" was left short.

Instant Double For Marsden

Level 1 : 25/50, 0 ante

In the very first hand of the tournament, Erica "SourPatchGrl" Nelson raised to 100 from under the gun, and Jacob "Bandit275" Powers three-bet to 150 from middle position. John "Warwind" Marsden four-bet to 300 next to act, and Jonathan "POKERGenie10" Rudnick called in the big blind, as did Nelson. Powers five-bet jammed for 15,000, Marsden called, and both Rudnick and Nelson folded.

Jacob "Bandit275" Powers: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
John "Warwind" Marsden: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

Marsden's aces got a small sweat on the {k-Spades}{6-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop, but no more help came for Powers on the {k-Hearts} turn or {4-Diamonds} river, and Marsden doubled, while Powers rebought.
