Seven Players Advance on Day 1D of the 2020 WSOP Online Main Event
On Day 1D of Event #77: $5,000 No Limit Hold'em Main Event, the smallest field so far gathered with 68 players taking a shot at the $25,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. After 15 levels of 30 minutes each, just seven players advanced to Day 2, which will resume on Sunday, August 30.
The Day 1D chipleader tag was for Stuart "bigdad" Wallensteen, who ended the night with 625,267 in chips. "TTVTT", Maicon "21_Pirlo" Gasperin, Oliver Weis, "goguma", Min "newclearfish" Zhu, and two-time bracelet winner Mark Radoja also making it through.
Coming up short were the likes of Jon van Fleet, Jason Koon, Conor Beresford, Hun Wei Lee, Chris Brewer, and Belarmino de Souza, who'll have to try again in one of the many subsequent flights remaining.
The next flight is on Thursday, August 20 at 7 p.m.
