Hellmuth Finds a Dub

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Phil Hellmuth

Action folded to the small blind, where "regdebaraio" potted. Phil Hellmuth called and then called a pot-sized bet on the flop for a board of {4-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. regdebaraio shoved for 8,126 effective and Hellmuth called off with {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for a straight draw.

Amazingly, he was ahead as regdebaraio was also drawing with {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, playing queen-high. The {a-Spades} gave Hellmuth a winning pair.

Chabra Coolered

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Ajay "Ross_Geller" Chabra called a min-raise by Tommi "wnbgambb" Lankinen under the gun. Lankinen continued for 5,512, half the pot, on {5-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}. Chabra called and then faced a pot-sized bet of 21K on the {6-Clubs} turn. He shoved for 37K more and Lankinen called with {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{a-Spades}{8-Spades} for top set.

Chabra had a set as well with {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} but luckily for him also some diamonds for backup. They didn't come home as each player filled up on the {5-Clubs} river.
