Hands #80-82: Livingston Surges Close to Gates

Level 39 : 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante

Hand #80: Hossein Ensan raised to 4.2 million on the button and won the pot.

Hand #81: Dario Sammartino raised to 3.5 million on the button and won the pot.

Hand #82: Ensan raised to 3.3 million under the gun and Alex Livingston defended the big blind. Livingston check-called 3 million on the {5-Spades}{a-Spades}{k-Hearts} flop, bringing in the {6-Spades} turn. Ensan bet again, 4 million, and Livingston came out raising this time to 12.5 million. Ensan went nowhere and the {3-Clubs} completed the board. Livingston bet 22.5 million, about half of his remaining stack. Ensan took a couple of minutes in the tank and folded.
