"The One Hand in the Deck I Can Beat!"

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Adedapo Ajayi opened from under the gun to 135,000 and was called by Martin Huk in middle position and Mostafa
Ashkarkhizani in the big blind.

The flop came {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Ashkarkhizani checked. Ajayi put in a continuation-bet of 300,000 and Huk got out of the way before Ashkarkhizani put in chips to call.

The turn was {9-Diamonds} and Ashkarkhizani checked again. Ajayi took an oversized T$500K chip and five orange T$5,000 chips and dropped them in front of him, betting 525,000. Ashkarkhizani calmly made the call without much consideration.

The river fell {a-Spades} and Ashkarkhizani led out for 400,000. Ajayi went into the tank, seemingly confused about the situation and thought his decision through for around 90 seconds before checking his cards. Moments later, he made the call.

Ashkarkhizani tabled {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and the dealer announced a pair of kings. Ajayi seemed surprised and turned over {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

"Pair of kings, jack plays," said the dealer, confirming Ajayi's hand was best.

Ajayi was laughing and surprised at the same time to see his opponent show up with a worse king, exclaiming as he stacked his chips, "The one hand in the deck I can beat!"
