Kary Cracks Aces With Ace-King

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Chris Dombrowski had 13,000 in front of him on the button, with Thiago Macedo already all in for 12,100 in middle position. On his left, Gregory Kary made it 45,000 and Dombrowski responded by shoving all in. He had around 210,000, covering the 123,000 or so of Kary.

"Trying to decide if I want to gamble," Kary muttered. "All right, I call."

Kary was way behind, in fact, with {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} against {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}. Macedo had {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}.

The {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop brought the flush draw Kary was looking for though, and he got there instantly on the {6-Diamonds} turn, leaving everyone drawing dead.
