Bouares Set Over Sets Carpentier-Perrault Again
It's a feat in itself to flop a set when playing no-limit hold'em and players marvel at it when they do so. It's another thing to be fortunate enough to have another player make a smaller set at the same time in order to get paid off. For it to happen twice in a day, to the same person, that's just crazy.
Earlier today, Marc-Olivier Carpentier-Perrault flopped a set of tens and got all of the chips in the middle only to have Farid Bouares turn a set of aces. Just a couple of hours later, the two were at it again.
On a flop of 
, the action checked to Carpentier-Perrault who bet 4,000 into a pot of around 11,000. David "ODB" Baker called from the big blind and Bouares check-raised to 10,000. Carpentier-Perrault shipped all in and Baker got out of the way, while Bouares called off his stack of 38,600.
