Abernathy Makes the Nuts

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Jeremy Abernathy opened to 600 from the cutoff and received calls from Eric Kurtzman on the button and Anthony Spinella in the big blind.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Spinella checked. Abernathy made a continuation-bet of 1,100 and it was good to get Kurtzman to fold. Spinella called and the turn came {3-Clubs}. Spinella checked and Abernathy fired for 2,500, getting another call from Spinella.

The river was {5-Clubs} and Spinella checked again. Abernathy bet 6,000 and Spinella thought for a while before making the call.

Abernathy quickly tabled {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, having turned the nut flush, and took down the pot.
