Faroni Doubles Through Richards on the Last Hand of the Night
Abraham Faroni opened to 30,000 from the hijack and action folded around to John Richards in the big blind. Richards three-bet to 101,000.
"You want to play ball, let's play ball," said Faroni as he four-bet to 400,000.
"I've never been scared to put a chip in the pot before, why would I be now? An even four hundred?" said Richards as he called.
The flop came and Richards checked his cards before announcing that he bet the pot. Faroni said he was all in, though he really was calling off the remaining 195,000 in his stack.
Abraham Faroni:
"I can beat that," said Richards as he turned over .
"Maybe not," he added as the dealer brought the turn and river , resulting in Faroni's aces holding and getting a double up on the last hand of the night.
